I’ve said that statement to a countless number of nurses over the last few years because that’s what my grandchildren call me, so when I’m there at a hospital with them, the nurses might as well call me what my grandchildren do. I’ve become somewhat of an expert on supporting hospitalized children by virtue of the fact that of my four children and eleven grandchildren, I’ve spent a total of 797 days supporting a hospitalized child one way or another and I’d like to share my expertise , ease your way and try to ease your heavy load, its hard having a sick child.
